CUC holds graduation ceremony for 2022 class
6 22, 2022Concord University College held a grand ceremony for the 2022 class of graduates, the first Millennials to leave the school, with over 4,000 people attending the event on June 22 at the track-and-field ground.
Deputy Vice President Chen Linnan presided over the ceremony and President Zhang Huarong made a speech on behalf of CUC. Professor Zhang first extended sincere congratulations to the graduates and encouraged them to step towards the bright future independently and perseveringly.
He called on CUC graduates to adapt to their new life, strengthen capacity-building, become all-around talents, bear in mind the fundamental interests of the country, promote FNU spirit and make relentless efforts in personal missions.
Besides, he named the gathering as not only a graduation ceremony but also an instance to send wishes and the beginning of a new page. He pledged that the alma mater would continue caring about alumni and invited them to come back next year for the 20th anniversary of Concord University College.
School leaders and honored guests then conferred graduate certificates, excellent graduate certificates and alumni liaison certificates to student representatives.
Lastly, student counselors and students sang songs to mark this momentous day and send best wishes to each other. The ceremony completed in the solemn chorus of the anthem of Fujian Normal University.
After the grand ceremony, heads of CUC and deans of departments conferred diplomas and turned the tassels for each and every graduate, with photos taken for remembrance. All the activities were smoothly carried out according to the requirements of covid-19 prevention and control policy.
