On the morning of June 27th, Fujian Normal University Concord University College held 2020 Online Graduation Ceremony & Degree Awarding Ceremony, which was broadcast through live streaming app bilibili. Members of Academic Degree Evaluation Committee and CUC administrative leaders in academic caps and gowns were sitting formally at the rostrum of the Lecture Hall; heads of various departments and CPC party committees together with counselors were also present in the ceremony; Mr. Chen Xiaobin, Deputy Secretary of CUC Party Committee hosted the ceremony. Although the ceremony was different from the previous ones, the organizers spared no efforts in presenting a grand ceremony and the faculty brought their earnest care and wishes for all the 3254 graduates.

'As epidemic prevention and control has become the new normal, we have to meet through the internet and celebrate this significant moment of graduation. This moment also marks the opening of a new chapter in your life,' said President Zhang Huarong in his commencement speech. In the speech, Professor Zhang also spoke highly of graduates' resilience as they overcame various difficulties and successfully completed the course of study; most of them got employed or self-employed; some of them even participated in epidemic prevention and control work. In retrospect of the four-year academic pursuit of the graduates, Mr. Zhang hoped that graduates could stay rational in face of difficulties and adopt a practical, aggressive and perseverant spirit so as to create a glorious future.  

As to the pitiful absence of students at the scene, President Zhang promised that 2020 graduates will have their seats in 2021 Graduate Ceremony as long as they wish to come back to their alma mater.
