From June 2nd to 3rd, 2020 graduates of Concord University College returned to campus at staggered time slots in a safe and orderly manner. CUC administration and department heads inspected the registration sites, dormitories and canteens to send their greetings to the returned students, faculty members and workers.

During the two-day process, 37 teacher volunteers were dispatched to Fuzhou Changle International Airport, Fuzhou Railway Station and Fuzhou South Railway Station to provide registration service, temperature testing and shuttle bus guidance for students. On campus were another 62 teacher volunteers providing dormitory check-in service for in-coming students.

Within the school there were shuttle buses between the school gate and the dormitory buildings; at checkpoints, teacher volunteers checked students' identity, tested their temperatures and disinfected their luggage; the accommodation buildings were cleaned and decorated to be safe and cozy; every student got a health care package consisting facial masks, a mercury thermometer, bottled mineral water and COVID-19 Prevention Manual.

Graduate students spoke highly of this returning journey as they were warmly received in a secure and orderly manner, thanks to the whole-hearted coordination between various departments of CUC and medical workers.

'I felt love from our college', Xu Qingqing, a graduate from Department of Management told her teacher through Wechat. 'The teacher volunteers guided me onto the shuttle bus as soon as I went out of the railway station. Next to the Ronyuan Dormitory Building, I found several posters for graduates to take photos with. We are really thankful for all these arrangements made by the college. And thanks a lot for all the hard work of the teacher volunteers!'

Yu Yijuan from Department of Cultural Industry couldn't wait to take memorial photos with classmates and teachers as she returned to the school. 'I had always been looking forward to returning to school to meet my classmates and teachers. I was really moved when I saw the slogan 'welcome home' on campus. I told my roommate that we must have a photo at the gate of school,' she said.

In the afternoon of June 3rd, Mr. Zhang Huarong, President of Concord University College conferred graduate certificates for students at the registration site of Department of International Education and they took photos together. Moved by the scene, graduate Su Zhilin wrote the following words in his weibo: 'I am really happy to return to campus after 140 days of separation due to the pandemic. Teachers and counselors work as volunteers to test temperatures and carry luggage for us. I am sincerely grateful to them. Also we are very honored to have President Zhang presenting the certificates to us and taking photos with us. After packaging my bags and filling the check-out form, I will leave school. I am filled with sadness. I hope I could still return to visit school after the pandemic.'
