In response to the proposals of the CPC Central Committee and the request of Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee to collect voluntary contributions from party members to support the epidemic prevention, CUC Party Committee issued an initiative calling for Party branches at various levels to carry out mobilization and organization work for voluntary donations. CUC leaders including Zhang Ronghua, Yin Guiyong, Chen Xiaobin, Wang Jin'an, Zhang Pengcheng and Yang Linxiang are among the first donators.

The donations from party members nationwide are turned in to Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee so that allowances can be appropriated to people working on the front-line of disease prevention such as medical workers, grass-root public servants, policemen and community workers and subsidies can be given to people impoverished by the COVID-19 pandemic and families whose beloved ones died in the pandemic.
