Recently, the 2018“Creative Youth” Fujian University Student Entrepreneurship Competition, hostedby the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the FujianProvincial Education Department, has come to a successful conclusion. CUC teamswon 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 7 bronze medals, 6 excellent awards, and CUCreceived “Excellent Organization Award”.

CUC attached greatimportance to “Creative Youth” Fujian University Student EntrepreneurshipCompetition and held pre-competition deployment meetings for many times. CUCdid a good job in preparation: holding simulation games, invitingentrepreneurs, venture capital investors and evaluation experts for counsel andcultivating students’ innovative thinking and entrepreneurship throughcoordinated efforts of various sections in CUC so as to create a goodatmosphere for students' endeavor.

Among the CUC studentinnovative programs, “Imperial Restaurant for Western Cuisine” won a goldaward, “VR Free Door” and “Secondary Recycling” won silver awardS. The 2016 Excellent Alumnus Chen Yu was awarded with “Entrepreneur Star” model, the 2014student Wu Yue was awarded “Entrepreneurship Star” and the 2015 student ChenZhichao was nominated the “Entrepreneur Star”.

The 2018 entrepreneurshipcompetition received 1405 projects from 58 higher institutes across theprovince, with 113 entering the final stage of contest. The organizer issued atotal of 20 Outstanding Organization Awards, 40 gold awards for Excellent BusinessProjects (undergraduate group), 20 for Excellent Business Projects (juniorcollege group), and 15 for Excellent Charitable Projects.
